Mrs. C's main dish was a bit of a hit or miss. Two slices of delicate boiled beef were perfection, while one was clearly the 'working end' of that cow. Fresh shaved horseradish and some of the best creamed spinach she's ever had accompanied the dish (horseradish above the meat, spinach under and out of view). Unfortunately the kitchen took so long to get the dishes out that Mrs. C had to eat this room temp on the couch at home after she rushed out to put little C to bed. Oh well... with the first night being so NOT perfect it was easy to go up from there for the rest of the meet-up weekend! :*)
