Amazing chips, lovely fish just a shame about the peas

The Ivy always do Fish and Chips very well. Proper mushy peas at last! Yum.😋

This was a mega expensive takeaway fish, chips and mushy peas (£17) but was a massive chunk of high quality Cod and the mushy peas were perfection.😋

Peas weren’t mushy peas despite the menu saying they were, which is SOooo… disappointing for me.

The Hake was cooked perfectly and was delicious, but unfortunately the fries weren’t as some were almost raw. Still, the food at this place is usually top notch, so will try again on another occasion.

Fish was ok (Wife doesn’t like it battered) and the chips were good, but the peas were very dry.
