Literally meaning dairyman’s wine, Senne-Wy is said to pay homage to the alpine dairymen who traditionally made cheese in the Emmental hills. I picked up a bottle while visiting the Emmentaler Schaukäserei, not expecting anything remarkable. But I was pleasantly surprised by how light, crisp, and fresh it was. Effortlessly drinkable and it paired beautifully with my alpine macaroni gratin. Pröschtli! 🥂🇨🇭
