Soots Cook Nook, PrivateTender, pan-seared chicken lacquered in that unmistakable sweet-savoury glaze, reminiscent of the izakayas I used to frequent on Oahu. Quite possibly the lowest-maintenance one-bowl meal I’ve made—yet deeply satisfying and full of flavour. A worthy repeat for those nights when going out feels like too much, but so does spending hours in the kitchen.
An unexpected milestone, too: in following a related recipe by Nami Chen, I finally cracked the poached egg code—courtesy of her “2-Minute Microwave Onsen Tamago.” About time.
