You'd think pasta is pasta, but this Barilla spaghetti actually had a fabulous texture. Worth the extra pennies.

Actually Beef & Venison Tortellini with wild mushroom cream sauce. Totally delicious. The tortellini are made by Mattarello, a fresh pasta company. I just made the sauce. ;)

Although I could tell it was homemade pasta, it was a little bit too thick and stodgy. The seafood and sauce were very nice. I’m still not decided on this place. 🤷‍♀️

I had high hopes for this. The quadrati spaghetti were really good (de Cecco) the Nduja didn’t seem very spicy (from Natura) and the clams were just aweful (from a jar) which probably ruined the whole dish. But I thought it looked quite nice, so I posted it anyway 😆

The boyfriends dish. When he spotted the fusilli on the plate he was about to hand them the plate back... 'I'm not eating that!' But. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked medium rare. The fusilli didn't get touched. Apart from to see whether they could ping of the table like a spring...
