The hot salami sandwich is a St. Louis tradition since 1918. Gioia's Deli was built from brick & wood from the 1904 World's Fair. The Salam de Testa is made fresh every day from beef & pork. The "hot" is the temp, not spice. I ordered it the traditional way, on garlic cheese bread with lettuce, onion, pickle, pepper jack cheese & spicy mustard. They have a new food truck so I was lucky it was close to the office today! #yum @GioiasDeli
