Well, we finally tried them. I didn't take a picture of the regular sandwich, but it was not as good as the spicy and definitely not as good as Chick-fil-A. I think the attraction of this sandwich is that it really is just a spicy chicken skin sandwich. It's all about the crunchy batter. Honestly there isn't much meat in it. Not as much as the fried batter. And while I appreciate some good crunchy fried chicken, I do prefer more chicken on my sandwich. On a chicken to chicken comparison, Chick-fil-A wins. They have found a way to make a thicker piece of chicken breast amazingly tender and delicious. If I go to Popeye's, I'll be getting their fried chicken for sure, but I will wait until those insane lines for the sandwich are gone!
