Japanese tea ceremonies always feel so formal and I always feel like I’m doing the wrong thing at any point at any given time, especially when the host is speaking Japanese. I was definitely not wrong about doing the wrong things though because on this occasion, I became the poster child for our Japanese audience for everything not to do as a guest.
