The hallmark Levain textural difference with a firm exterior giving way to a softer and gooey interior is still true here. However, it seems the chocolate chips in other cookies are essential to making them super soft on the inside, as these are relatively firm on the inside. The peanut butter chips are rather nutty, but aren’t “peanut buttery” and did not do much here. A bit of a disappointment.
