Dinner at Gymkhana in Mayfair, with the lovely fiancé, for the start of my birthday celebrations! Along with some Indian red wine, we shared: Spice-stuffed grilled paneer with sweetcorn, a yam & chickpea dosa pancake with tomato and coconut chutney, a tandoori mixed grill (chicken, salmon, quail kofta-type thing and king prawns, with accompanying sauces/chutneys) mixed green vegetables, and basmati rice. And for pudding: a pistachio kulfi, poached pears with pistachio crumb and vanilla ice cream, and a surprise chocolate mousse with popping candy - from Gymkhana for my birthday, complete with a candle! Amazing food!
