The broth was indeed spicy, but it was tasty enough I was willing to tolerate the burn [although my GI tract would later beg to differ (I also hope it wasn’t because the beef wasn’t sufficiently cooked despite the torching 😳)]. Overall, a tasty enough dish, but I’m not sure it was worth paying so much extra for the F1 wagyu.
