Looks a little blah, I know but looks can be deceiving. We could smell the wok hei and salted fish as soon as this was placed on the table. The rice was perfectly fried in all its umami glory. And I love that there’s a dash of light soy sauce on the fried egg, again just like how mamma makes it. It’s the little details that matter sometimes.
