Simply put, Just amazing. First time having Tanzanian food and it really didn’t disappoint. My favourite thing is eating food from new locations and this was up there with new experiences. First off the lady serving it was super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about cooking which you could taste in the food she provided. The curry I ordered was a beef coconut curry, with traditional spices from her homeland of Tanzania 🇹🇿 very creamy and a lot of coconut flavour, all of which had combined and soaked into the tender beef and helped infuse the flavour of the curry that much more. On the side was this huge loaf like dough called Ugali, made out of Mais, it’s a traditional filling food which pairs beautifully with the curry, texture is soft and fluffy,Doesn’t taste like much. Finally stewed cabbage on the side to add to the meal which went lovely with everything. The final part of the dish was the spiced tea (masala tea) which helped this filling and hearty dish go down very smoothly. If you ever find yourself in Hereford I highly recommend this place!!!
