TUNA MELT

Two toasted open baguette slices topped with melted mozzarella, tuna, tomatoes, butter beans, olives, capers & rucola and served a side of chips and mayonnaise. As a picky eater, I was disappointed when they told me they couldn’t remove the olives and capers from my dish, which meant every bite tasted predominantly of these ingredients. However, when I did get a taste of the other things, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The addition of butter beans as a topping was a nice Maltese twist on a classic tuna melt. The chips were probably my favourite part of this meal; perfectly crispy and not too salty! Although I did enjoy this as a lunchtime option, I don’t think I would order again as the overwhelming taste of olives and capers put me off.
