Oh, yikes. These were NOT pancakes; they were something like pound cake batter fried in a pan, then drenched in syrup. They were claggy as hell (see second picture), and there was definitely sugar in the batter 🥴. On the bright side, that was real maple syrup. But for €6.50, I kind of expect that. I barely ate half, and that's only because I was really hungry.
