Hard to go wrong with a good confit! The accompaniments were lovely - braised lettuce, peas, cocktail onions and something salty/pancetta-y

I wanted to love this, but I didnt. The chicken was a little dry and the sauce didn’t add much.

Somehow in reading the description of this dish, I somehow missed that it would be sitting on a bed of cold pasta... as in it’s a pasta salad (not a hot dish left too long). Friends, I loathe cold pasta. If I’m going to have a carb fest, it needs to be amazing. Cold pasta is not. The chicken - ok, fairly crispy coating but not particularly flavourful. There were courgette ribbons, marinated artichokes and edamame in the salad which were decent enough. Wouldn’t order this again though.
