1st CHICKEN KARAAGE
Tonkotsu Peckham, LondonThe chicken karaage was moist on the inside but crispy in the outside which is what everyone is looking for in a karaage but the flavour was a bit lack luster and even had a hint of bitterness from the occasional burnt coating.
Biggest no-no of this dish was the fact that they serve this without Japanese mayo as standard and that you have to pay extra for it. Everywhere I have been to has always served karaage with mayo. Be it a little bit or a lot, they still served it with it as standard!
