Roast pork with some pretty good trimmings. Sadly, one of the crackling sticks was a bit chewy and a small part of the pork was a bit dry. But the bits that were done well, were very good 😋

Roast pork always carries a risk of being overdone but this was cooked perfectly. Would like a thicker gravy and more of it, but overall it was a nice roast

If I'm critical, there's nothing outstanding, nor particularly bad about this roast dinner. But as it was my first in many months, sat in a lovely beer garden, I was very pleased with it. #sundayroast

Nothing remarkable. And the beef was a fairly small portion which was too well done for me. Stuffing balls were the best thing on the plate. #sundayroast

Was told it would be a medium pink but it definitely was cooked well done. Veggies and gravy were OK.

Iconic location and always popular. Generous portion and affordable roast pork at £12.50. A little over cooked in parts but keeps you fed as you drink.

Roast chicken isn't my go-to for a Sunday roast mainly because I think it's too liable to be dry. This plate didn't change that perception sadly. Breast meat was overcooked for my liking and the wing included was practically a crisp, which suggests it was in the oven far too long. On the positive side the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were good. But no white sauce or chipolatas on the plate despite being listed on the menu, which meant they'd run out. Not one I'd return to.

Good Yorkshire Pudding but not much else to recommend. Not much pork, potatoes weren't crispy, slightly mushy veg, nowhere near enough gravy. #sundayroast
