Not common to see a mushroom gratin but this was more like a stuffed mushroom, packed with ham and topped with a gently melted goat's cheese.

Breaded and fried mushroom with a garlic mayo. Could've been more garlicky.

The only, but critical, issue is the shyness with seasoning. When you caught a fleck of sea salt, it was a lovely delight. But there wasn't enough. Could've been a fab plate...
