It is rare for me to like everything on an assorted anything platter but in this case, I did.

Seasoned ground meat, mushrooms and diced veg rolled up in a sheet of rice paper before getting deep fried to golden brown crispy perfection. I’ve not had such good Chả Giò in a very, very long time. 😋

Pretty meager for $6 but tasty enough.

These were really well-fried. I might’ve enjoyed them more had I enjoyed the filling more and had they not arrived halfway through the main.

Tempura Battered Popiah (Fresh Spring Roll) with Fresh Prawns, Kimchi and Cheese, accompanied with Crispy Prawn Paste Batter and Kimchi Sauce. From the folks at Good Chance Popiah.

Savory cigar-shaped spring rolls filled with minced duck meat, mozzarella, onion, and pickle, touched with Sichuan spice for added kick.

Nice start to dinner.
