AMAZING
1st MISO GLAZED BLACK COD
Sticks'n'Sushi Wimbledon, London
#blackcod #japanese #smallplates #sharing #lunch #pescatarian loved the black cod sticks. Too good.
2nd FILLETS OF CORNISH RED MULLET, SAFFRON POTATOES, ROUILLE & BOUILLABAISSE SAUCE
Galvin at the Athenaeum, London
Delicious flavours and the fish was perfectly cooked. Only trouble was the broccoli was really tough and difficult to eat! Didn't bother me too much. #hotel #london #mayfair #pescatarian
3rd STEAMED SEA BASS
Basilic and Thai, Roissy-en-France
Beautifully cooked fish, infused with heat from ginger and chilli and flavours of lime and coriander mostly. Soft and nicely cooked. I think that every other dish served didn't look anywhere near as nice as this. #pescatarian #thai
REALLY GOOD
4th MONKFISH TAIL
Mac and Wild Fitzrovia, London
Loved it. Cooked so well. Glad I had a side and dessert as the portion wasn't very big compared to the burger for example.
5th THAI BARRAMUNDI
Monsoon Colombo, Mews
Nicely cooked and with lovely flavours. A little bit obsessed with steamed fish at the moment. #pescatarian
6th PLAICE
Harlees Fish & Chips, Bradford-on-Avon
Cooked perfectly, flaky, good batter, flavour etc. Very much enjoyed it šŸ˜Š I'm suspect that I might have overblown my rating slightly just because it's been so long since Ive had a proper, good fish supper as they just aren't that great usually in London compared to Scotland. But even so it was very nice #pescatarian
7th SEA BREAM IN LEMON & BASIL TEMPURA
Hook, London
#pescatarian nice flavours and way too much for just me!
8th BALLOTINE OF RYE BAY PLAICE
Eastwell Manor, Champneys Hotel & Spa, Boughton Lees
With king prawn mousseline (this was in the ballotine with the plaice, not completely convinced by this part, I like the texture of fish and seafood, I'mreqlly not sure about turning it into a mousseline..), saffron Jersey royals (nice and saffrony, they were a lovely flavour), samphire (not usually fussed about samphire but this was cooked nicely and was less salty than usual, was more delicate and probably the nicest samphire I've eaten), picked radish, squid ink tuille (fishy and almost bitter in taste. Yum!), vermouth sauce. Flavours were really good, balanced and the textures were great. #pescatarian
9th SMOKED CHALK STREAM TROUT
Eastwell Manor, Champneys Hotel & Spa, Boughton Lees
With horseradish cream, pickled seaweed, chives, apple and caviar. Really tasty starter. Balanced with flavours and texture. The pickled seaweed wasn't as exciting as it sounds. The fish skin was super crispy šŸ‘ŒšŸ» really nice to see trout on a menu, it's one of my preferred fish options. #pescatarian #starter
10th PAN FRIED SEA TROUT, CREAMY MASH, ROASTED DUTCH CHERRY WINE TOMATO, HOLLANDAISE
The Shaftesbury, Richmond
Mash was super creamy and thick, loved it. Tomatoes were also very nice. Not too much hollandaise, I enjoyed the whole dish. The trout was obviously lovely, it's one of my favourite fish. But I think it could have been cooked slightly less time, though it wasn't over really, certainly not dry at all, and it would have been nice if the skin was crispier. Anyway it was a good meal and I would choose it again if i ever go back. #pescatarian #trout #pubfood
11th PLAICE

The Latymers, Hammersmith, London
Deep fried cod, sweet and sour, veg Yummy. It's massive though, helps to share! #pescatarian
14th MAHI MAHI
The Andrea, Westerly
Nicely flavoured summery salad.
