1st ROAST LAMB
Simpson's in the Strand, LondonI finally did it! Simpson’s twice in the same week allowed me the opportunity to trespass off piste and go for the lamb. Delicate, succulent and tasty, I thought it was a little less than the beef, but it took that bit longer to eat than my friends who had stuck to tradition. That says it all. I feel a traitor to tradition to bypass the famous roast beef, because after all, it is Simpson’s. But I survived and the lamb didn’t, so a perfect evening all said.
