2nd SNACKS
Kazuki's Restaurant, Carlton
The online recommendation to try the snacks is spot on. They were all delicious and the paris brest with parfait and jam was sensational.
4th OUR WALDORF
Suculent, Barcelona
It's a piece of celery with goat cheese, walnuts, apples.
6th SNACKS
Restaurant MONTÉE, Paris
Walnut, cheese biscuit and dried mushrooms.
7th ASSORTED SNACKS
Myrtle, Wellington
This is a pop up event as part of WOAP this year. It’s a collaboration between Chat Thai in Sydney and Myrtle. Full descriptions of the dishes on last photo. I really enjoyed these.
8th THREE SNACKS IN A BOX
Logan Brown Restaurant, Wellington
My third chef collaboration event for #WOAP and this was with the chef from Cocoro in Auckland. I loved the food there when I had a chance to visit so I had high hopes about this dinner. It didn’t disappoint and this first course was really good.
9th LAST CANAPÉS
Cape Kidnappers, Hawke's Bay
It’s our last night here at Cape Kidnappers. This was served at pre dinner drinks. Sadly it wasn’t explained so I don’t know exact details. First photo of raw fish in coconut cream, then a cheese crisp and dumpling.
12th CANAPÉS
Cape Kidnappers, Hawke's Bay
Complimentary canapés before dinner. Raw oyster, onion bhaji, lamb kofta.
13th ASSIETTE D'APERITIF
Frenchie, Wellington
There were mixed vegetables with housemade aioli, Garage Project mushrooms, beef brisket remoulade, pig head terrine, sourdough bread and quince mustard. Loved all of it except for the mushrooms.
17th CASSAVA SNACK
HIAKAI, Wellington
Second of four different snacks.
18th TASTING PLATTER FOR TWO
OLI & MI Kitchen, Lower Hutt
These were delicious. Must order again next time.
