Now this is some delicious fruit toast, and it comes with marscarpone and passionfruit curd. Amazing.

Raisin toast is a *thing* in Australia. It should be everywhere,IMO. I’ve never seen it dusted with (cinnamony?) icing sugar though. I’m not sure it’s necessary; good raisin toast needs nothing but butter (and a good coffee to go with)

Given how amazing everything else had been at this place, I expected a bit more from the fruit toast. This was nice, but not amazing. And I would have liked a bit more butter.

Cinnamon Toast is another Australianism I wish would transport to the UK. It’s so simple yet effective: buttered toast sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. That being said, I prefer when its a bit more cinnamony and thicker toast. This was a nice sourdough bread though, so point for that.
