Small but really tasty! Crisp pastry, soft smooth filling and the tart addition of raspberries really worked.

Outer pastry was crisp and flakey, inner custard seemed pleasant and soft. I only had a bite of this but it seemed pretty good!

Very flakey, crispy pastry; but would have benefitted from being warm and there was something a bit odd about the custard, can’t put my finger on it, but something a bit weird.

I love a good #pasteldenata - this, alas, wasn’t that great. Husband had to finish it for me. Pasteis De Nata really need to be warm and flakey, otherwise like this one they’re just a bit disappointing and not memorable.
