REALLY GOOD
1st CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE
Kent Life, Maidstone
From “For Goodness Shakes” - a really lovely and flavoursome milkshake. I could really taste the peanut butter in this one. Yum.
2nd CHOC MALT MILKSHAKE
MEATliquor Croydon, Croydon
Nice and thick (more “thick shake” than milkshake - which is how I like them!) with two Maltesers on top for good measure
3rd CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE
Big Easy Bar BQ & Crabshack, London
This isn’t on the menu. I actually ordered their crunchy nut cornflake milkshake but they were out of cornflakes. The rest of the flavours seemed a bit generic so I asked if they could do chocolate and peanut butter. They complied. It was tasty! I would have liked a bit more peanut butter though.
PRETTY GOOD
4th CHOC MALT MILKSHAKE
Vincent Diner, Glenbrook
Another milkshake that seems to just be made with milk and syrup, but at least a bit better than the icy mess I had in Lithgow.
JUST OK
5th CHOC MALT MILKSHAKE
The Blue Fox, Lithgow
So I’ll be first to admit my experience at this cafe wasn’t good because they forgot our food order making me late and hungry for a wedding. Even with that in mind I don’t think this was a great milkshake. The flavour wasn’t strong and i occasionally got even weaker bits where there must have been bits of ice cube not quite crushed up properly. Disappointing.
