Why didn't I find this during Thanksgiving time???? Finally the Pecan Pie I was looking for, right here in Honolulu! Next year, I'll definitely be here😋

Well, they made a berry tart for Mothers day weekend(and iI sadly missed it..duh! Fortunately, they made 🍓 tart on the following week, therefore, I am. I've never had a 🇩🇪 version before, and I was pleasantly surprised how naturally tasted their tart is, instead of making it extra sweet/sugarly. I must say it is "reserving" all the goodies of ingredients, no overpowering on any of them. Portion is 🇩🇪 but leaving not so guilty feeling for having a slice✌🏽

The special of the pre-fathers day Saturday at Kakaako Farmers Market. Again, they never dissapoint, the light fruity peachy aroma & the fluffy sponge cake. So natural & simple. Ppl may say "not sweet enough" but no, I must say this cake has to be this way, the way Aunty Tanya(the owner/baker)'s family kept baking them for the ohana & friends for decades & decades = authentic 🇩🇪 way.

Ok, this is Tiramisu, and this is tart. Tiramisu has a distinguish texture AND flavoring. Neither of them applies to this tart, or maybe too small to taste the specific? I did not taste tiramisu...it was more like a mini coffee cheese cake tart. The bitterness of coffee was overpowering...or maybe this particular piece was kinda "off"? 🤷🏽‍♀️
