Lilikoi Haupia(left) & Matcha 🍓swirl(right). Wow, just wow, never expected or even imagined 🌱🍦 can be this tasty, ono,& sooo much better than non-plantbased. The only regret is that I literally had to interisland ✈️for this but I must say absolutely worth it. This definitely beats down any of those plantbased 🍦I've ever had in my life. Lilikoi Haupia - smooth, rich & creamy with a hint of tangy Lilikoi, Matcha 🍓 had a light 🍵 w hint of 🍓, just sooo perfect. Who would miss the regular 🍦if plantbased can be so much tastier?

Nowadays more 🇯🇵 style 🍵cafe are popping up but Nana's & Maiko in Waikiki are the pioneer on authentic 🍵🍦& other 🇯🇵 dessert that's absolutely worth exploring into this tourist zone. The balance of bitter fresh 🍵 & silky smooth creaminess of softserve cannot get any better than what they serve. I was debating myself as to what to order today but decided on the one with shiratama & azuki bean paste. No regret, perfect treat for the late afternoon✌🏽

Second place that makes Matcha Greentea soft serve(not frozen yogurt) on this island I finally got to try. I wasn't expecting much before heading out, but boy, oh boy, what a pleasant surprise!! I 💚 anything greentea. Altho Hawaii is blessed with variety of authentic Asian cuisines & desserts compared to other big US cities(excluding San Francisco), still, not completely 100% of what you'd expect in Japan. BUT this place, Nana's absolutely exceeds!! Besides variety of soft serves & numbers of parfaits that's almost to a level of overwhelming, they make traditional Japanese desserts such as anmitsu, zenzai, and even warabimochi!!! My only option before was either buying premade pack or canned one from Japanese grocery stores OR, order a dessert ftom Japanese restaurant. Glad to know I can now enjoy anmitsu ONLY. Oh, and did I mention this was sooo yummy? The combination of agar jelly(vegan), azuki bean paste(vegan), shiratama(vegan), and greentea ice cream(vegetarian...I believe) drizzled with kuromitsu(Japanese molasses) is absolute heaven(for me, it is). My authentic Japanese dessert craving completely satisfied. I'll definitely be back here for more...zenzai...warabimochi....woooow, gimme gimme gimme✌🏽
