Kale salad with black beans, corns etc in cilantro-lime dressing over brown rice topped with hummus & toasted coconut flakes. This is definitely my top "go-to" for tasty green leafy veggie fix, along with numbers of green veggie smoothies🌱✌🏽

@Islandwide Crafts & Food Expo, after my usual Modagee Fries by Da Hub, I was still hungry, craving soy sauce something (&🍚) then I walked pass by, this plant based "beef bowl" caught my 👀. Yup, pretty deceiving names & looks but actually, not bad at all. The texture & flavor did have "the beef" minus the 🐄, unexpected crafts expo grindz🤙🏽

Always wanted to give it a try at this supposedly "the best tempura" on this island. Finally got to try the other day. Location(Waikiki) was the only reason I never got to step into this place. Straight to my verdict, not a bad tempura bowl, after all I've tried at few so-called "best" tempura places with mostly disappointments. One thing I don't understand, and didn't do was eating it with soft-boild egg tempura as suggested by the "how to" posting at the restaurant...uh...egg yolk on the tempura bowl rice? That'd kill the flavorful tempura sauce . I don't know about that, but that could be only me. I simply wanted to enjoy the tempura bowl. Asides from this, overall, authentic tempura bowl for sure, but not the best, esp for the price...

Veggie Kakiage donburi. Love the spicy sauce but found it a bit overpowering...

Tempuras are good, so is rice but I should've waited longer for the flavors to meld...

Bland, didn't get the flavorful tempura, also no shichimi peppers(!!!!!) at the counter which is a big NO for me. Tempura & Udon place must have shichimi!!!
