Authentic Japanese Bento(vs. local-kine). Variety of okazu(sides), all very-lightly seasoned(which I really like) & steamed rice. I believe they use rice imported from Japan. All plant-based but I believe some are seasoned w/Bonite(fish) extract. From top, clock-wise: HIjiki, Zenmai(mountain veggie), Stewed Kabocha pumpkin, Shiraae(tofu & veggie), Japanese potato salad, Kimchi, and steamed multi-grain rice.

They rarely have any bentos w/out meat or fish, this was my GRAB of the day. The corn cream croquette was a BOMB, literally a corn cream potage soup in a croquette. Extremely soft to pick-up as the filling's oozing, thus the "before" photo only. This bento consist of other sides: Kiriboshi daikon raddish(stewed daikon strips w/veggies), Nishime(stewed veggies), sauteed eggplant, and scoop of white rice. Japanese portion Bento but pretty filling.

From the top clock-wise, Nishime, Lumpia, Croquette, plain musubi, cone sushi, and Veggie kakiage/tempura.

I have sinned🙏🏽 Plain simple - Out of curiosity, but surprisingly NOT BAD AT ALL for $5. Wish they'd have some veggie items but should not be wiahy-washy talking about the price. AND actually there was a long line, that's self-explanatory.

An office luncheon special, catered for plant based. Plain musubi, potato croquette, veggie tempura, and stewed burdockroot. Okazuya classics.

Need a bit more of creativity...sure it's vegetable/plant-based but...is it that hard to develop more veggie only okazu items???🤨

Meh, the sauce got me again!!! I've no idea as to how anybody would even consume soba noodle with overy sweet sesame paste/sauce like this(ugh🤢). While it really looked delicious, it was a disastor even purchasing it....I'd rather had this with soy sauce...the sauce made this whole dish so unpalatable...ugh, no thanks!
