I love dumplings in pretty much any form. Let me tell you, these khinkali are phenomenal! Packed with salty, molten cheese that oozes out for an amazing cheese pull from your mouth. Season the exterior, pick it up by the knot at the top with your hands and devour!

Meat filled, with a little soupy broth that will burst out of your first bite. This is the big brother of the dainty Chinese Xiao Long Bao it resembles. And there's more of it so I'd contend it's better!

A favourite at Din Tai Fung for good reason. Always good 😋🥟

Wholemeal flour wrapper, with juicy spiced prawn and pork filling with a little water chestnut in there too. It's got a gorgeous fried, caramelised base and is topped with fried shallots and sliced green onion. The killer is the signature chilli oil sauce, with bits of pork fat in there to bump up the savoury flavour and add a mild but worthy heat. Top notch dumplings! 🥟

Not as much soup inside as others I've had, but no bad thing as there's a) no risk of explosion as you take the first bite and b) it cools a little quicker so you can get to the eating much sooner which is a definite bonus!

10pc portion didn't last long between two diners. I prefer the pork staple over this blended variant.
