Classic Bled cake aka kremsnita, a flaky pastry cake, sandwiching huge custard and cream layers. Divine, especially here where the view is outstanding over Lake Bled.

Cream cheese mousse, with rhubarb, and grapefruit. Nice way to freshen the palate and clean the taste buds after the mains.

Classic Sicilian dessert really crunchy with a lovely sweet lemony ricotta and chocolate filling 😋

You might have to hike to the top of Mount John to get to this cafe but it's worthwhile - the views are great and the cakes, like this custard square topped with coconut, are absolutely delicious 😋

Vietnamese caramel flan dessert. Bit too soft and sweet for my palate but dessert fans will probably appreciate it a lot more.

Huge, sponge dumpling encasing a whole apricot, covered in a light crumble. Served with vanilla ice cream (also covered in crumble) and an apricot sauce. Could feed 2-3 people so don't underestimate the size of this dessert!

Sharp citrus dessert to cut through the rich mains on offer. Very creamy and a nice, crumbly biscuit base.

Nutty, cold and not too sweet dessert to round off a meal. A nice balanced palate cleanser to go with a coffee or dessert wine.

Candied grape juice holds a walnut filling. Unlike anything I've had before but a nice way to round off a meal if you haven't got a serious sweet tooth.

Big enough for two to share. Meringue was nice, ice cream was good. The cake part was chocolate and a little dense.
