Chunky but soft cuts of fresh beef steak accented with fantastic black truffle throughout and topped with a little more for good measure. Peppery rocket on the side gives a contrast to make this an essential starter.
The non-truffled version of their tartare is still a distinct dish - little spice and citrus bringing it to life with the chunky steak cuts melting away with each mouthful.
Chunky, fresh and nicely presented. There's a yolk concealed and the garlic chips are pungent (almost too much so). Smoked chutney and aioli not really necessary with the flavours already on the plate, but they were tasty too.
That's the thing about a great steak tartare, it's so rare... Fresh and well seasoned chopped beef, on diced onion and pickles, with quail egg and fresh mustard grain. 👍🏻🐮
A little under spiced/seasoned and comes with triple cooked chips, but not bread which is surely needed?
