There’s nothing like enjoying a well-made sandwich in the park on a fine day. Fancying something different, I opted for this Mango Chutney Sandwich with homemade mango chutney, hard cheese (Schlossberger cheese), and arugula in a spelt sandwich roll.

A medley of grilled vegetables: capsicum, eggplant, zucchini, topped with crispy, breaded jalapeño and melted Monterey Jack cheese. Wonderfully inventive veggie wich. Everything about this dish was great (even the salad), except maybe the onion rings.

For the win on World Cucumber Day with The Durrells on Netflix. Never mind that they were on Corfu.

This is a veggie sandwich that thoroughly works! It’s an amazing combination of fried breaded zucchini, sweet and sour red onion jam, fontina cheese and the cherry on top: BBQ chips. I skipped the pickled jalapeños coz I didn’t have any, but everything just melds perfectly into this delicious repast! 😋

An H.L.T of sorts inspired by the one served at Baby Blues Luncheonette, except there’s no lettuce in the “L” aspect of the sandwich (but arugula dressed in a Greek style vinaigrette).

With roasted bell peppers, baby arugula and sliced tomatoes on multigrain bread.

Veggie patty of egg, soy, carrots, corn and red peppers sandwiched with a slice of melted cheese, olives, onions, tomatoes and sweet onion dressing on honey oat bread.
