OMG, so good!! And the seeds were soft enough to eat as well. Triple bonus!

When you’ve made apple cider which you can’t drink all of alone and you have a bunch of extra Granny Smiths sitting in the fruit crisper, you start putting two and two together. Plus I haven’t had these in ages. I dare say they’re better than the ones I used to get at the orchard near my place.

Unsure why these are so popular. They pale in comparison to the ones we fry at home. The crunchy bits are nice enough and you can taste a hint of coconut in them.

Fried cempadak from Mama Rose. Not as substantial or crispy as the ones from the yesterday's bazaar at Kelana Jaya, but still fulfilled my longstanding craving for fried cempadak.
