These scallion pancakes are da bomb! They look more like Indian frybread but are elevated with a divine dip of Cilicuka (no Sriracha on hand), shoyu, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger and scallions. Such a delicious snack!

I’m not a PSL kinda person but I won’t say no to these fall-forward pumpkin pancakes, zhuzhed up with cinnamon and fresh ginger 🫚 and complemented with a dollop of salted maple butter and toasty pecans. Happy National Pancake Day!

First crispy apam balik I’ve had since the ones I used to get from the cart parked outside the hospital in Cheras years ago which were amazing. These ones need a more substantial amount of filling, especially creamed corn.

It’s National Flapjack Day and while it’s also National Cereal Day, why not pack it all in with these whole-grain-filled flapjacks, courtesy of whole wheat flour and Bob's Red Mill 8 Grain Hot Cereal (okay, it’s not 9 grains, but there’s an extra spoonful of flaxseed to maybe compensate 🤷🏻‍♀️)? They’re hearty alright coz I skipped lunch.

Happy International Whole Grain Day! For being puffier than I expect despite being 100% whole grain, these pancakes are quite magical, with more magic coming from mini chocolate chips, chocolate morsels and fresh banana bits!

Top recommendation at this pancake place. The fluffy pancakes, together with the blueberries and maple butter made for a decadent combination. No regrets.

Nice but it’s a lotta matcha to take in all at once! The starchy sweet potato/taro(?) things were superfluous.

My first batch of diabetes-friendly pancakes. They’re partially made with whole grains (rolled oats + home ground oat flour) for nuttiness and a nutritional boost. Thankfully, they’re fluffier than I expected and when dolloped with orange-honey yogurt, actually worth a spot in the breakfast rotation. Oh, and happy National Blueberry Pancake Day!

Managed to offload some whole-wheat flour and almond flour which led to some very moist pancakes.
