BRIEF: “Dark Chocolate Mocha with fresh Orange Zest- Hello Sunshine!” SOOT’S TAKE: Delish! Way better than yesterday’s shitty coffee.

There’s a story behind this mocha that involves my being caught flat-footed after it was prepared because I just didn’t have the ability to pay in a way that was acceptable to the vendor. Could I pay in cash? No. Did they take Amex? No. Then from behind me came an offer from a kind soul to put it on his tab and have it count towards his good deed for the day. I couldn’t and insisted on paying him in cash. I fished out a $10 bill —> No, no that’s too much! Got change? Nope. As a final resort, I clumsily reached into my wallet for $5.50 worth of coins which was probably going to become a nuisance for my coulda been benefactor anyway. I felt a little bad but I still gotta sleep at night. End of story.

You would be convinced there was chocolate in this. You would be convinced there was coffee in this too. It’s not too sweet either, so it works.

Met my needs insofar as my need to stay awake without a stomach upset was concerned. But I won’t be hurrying to get an Alegria machine, LOL.

Tastes like any other generic, overly-sweet mocha packaged in Tetra Pak-style boxes.

I don’t know what this tasted like (not coffee) but it was horrible. Also the priciest drink I’d ever gotten out of a vending machine at ~$5. NEVER AGAIN🤮
