REALLY GOOD
1st TEH TARIK
Thosai Cafe, Petaling Jaya
Appropriately bubbled 🫧
2nd TAIWAN MILK TEA
PlayMade by 丸作 @ Buona Vista MRT, Singapore
Got this with a 30% reduction in sugar content. It was very good.
3rd TEH TARIK
Red Ginger, Singapore
I wanted Teh Halia (ginger tea) but they were out (“Teh Halia balik kampung!” exclaimed the jovial lady at the counter). This was a nice sub (not too sweet) except it was hot and I didn’t know at the time I would be craving an ice cold drink with the spicy Mee Siam. 🥵
4th HOJICHA BROWN SUGAR CREAM LATTE
Sweet Potato Factory@jcube, Singapore
Hojicha powder with Hokkaido milk, topped with copious amounts of whipped cream & brown sugar. Delicious with the takoyaki I had today, especially since my last helping was in December and it’s the first time I’ve ingested anything outside the home since April 2020.
LiHO TEA @ Star Vista, Singapore
+ Brown Sugar Pearl The perfect prize after a mile-long run in SEARING heat. ☀️🥵🔥🔥
each a CUP 各一杯 , #02-02 Singapore 138677
This was delicious and refreshing on an oppressively hot and humid day.
PRETTY GOOD
7th LYCHEE OOLONG FRAPPÉ
McDonald's Paya Lebar Square, Singapore
BRIEF: A burst of rich, fruity flavours with hints of roasted Oolong, refreshingly blended and topped with a dollop of whipped cream. You’ll love this fun treat! SOOT’S TAKE: Interesting enough to try once. Just ONCE (unless you enjoy burping floral perfume). 😷
8th TEH TARIK
Warong Nasi Pariaman, Singapore
With less sugar and better than I expected.
13th THAI MILK TEA LATTE
Cha Tra Mue, Singapore
Still thirsty after my non-refillable drink and this was BOGO, so why not?
14th NISHIO MATCHA WITH BROWN SUGAR WARM PEARLS
Tealive Aeon Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru
Great if you like matcha 🍵. I’m more of a brown milk tea kind of person.
15th TEH TARIK
Prata Alley, Singapore
Nothing like a hot cup of tea to revive... ☕️
LiHO TEA @ JEM, Singapore
Literally translated, “da hong bao” means big red packet which are red envelops of cash given by married peeps to unmarried peeps during the Lunar New Year (which is right around the corner). It is also the name of a type of delicious oolong tea from China. This one had milk in it, along with brown sugar and boba: a modern take on a supposedly ancient drink.
17th TEH TARIK
Prata Raya, Singapore
Topped it off with a glass of teh tarik.
18th ชาเขียวนม MILK GREEN TEA
Cha Tra Mue, Singapore
Thai milk green tea. Very perfumed, yet strangely pleasant. And refreshing. 🏃‍♀️
21st TEH C
Toast Box - Westgate, Singapore
Tea with sugar and evaporated milk.
Ding Tea, Johor Bahru
Not as flavorful as I was expecting it to be and the pearls were too gummy for my liking. 😕
