3rd TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE
Soots Cook Nook, PrivateHappy National Mac and Cheese Day! In tribute to France, America and the person who bridged the two in putting Mac & Cheese on the proverbial map (drumroll for Chef James Hemmings!), here’s a pimped out mac 'n' cheese for the taking (or clogging). This one’s a three-cheese chorus of nutty gruyere, robust roquefort, and extra-mature cheddar with candied bourbon bacon coming along for the ride. And let’s anoint the whole shebang with a generous splash of white truffle oil shall we? My body will just have to give me a pass today.
