Homemade Lemonade with Basil. So refreshing! Hurry before it runs out!

I’d always thought English lemonade was sparkling but perhaps I’m mistaken? 🤔 Still, it’s refreshingly pleasant to find good citrus flavored beverages that don’t remind me of dishwashing liquid (or maybe that’s just Singapore? 🤔)

This fizzy lemonade was refreshing and the chrysanthemum flowers lifted it just sufficiently without overpowering.

Sweetened with Shack-made simple syrup.

Don’t taste like dish soap. That’s pretty good in Sooty’s books.

It was slightly salty and lychee-tasting. The overall taste was too weird for me to want to repeat.

I wasn’t really expecting it to be soda water + a pump of lemon syrup. 😳

Tastes like dishwashing liquid smells. :(
