BRIEF: “100% beef hamburg steak with demiglace sauce. Comes with Steamed Rice or Baguette.” SOOT’S TAKE: I had initial reservations about getting their hamburg steak a la carte for lunch on account of it possibly being too heavy and there not being a demi-glace among their 3 sauce options + I wasn’t too excited about the veggie sides shown on their online menu. However, upon arriving at the restaurant and seeing they had a lunch special of the item with sweet corn niblets and lo and behold, demi-glace, and the option to get refillable iced tea at $2.80 (as opposed to the a la carte price of $8) all manner of doubt dissolved. It was everything I wanted in a yoshoku meal to bring me back to Japan which I dearly want to re-visit.

This was surprisingly my least favorite of the dishes ordered, I think because it didn’t really go with the rest of the KBBQ.
