Japanese Sencha with Honey Melon from Kagoshima Prefecture. Apart from dried melon, they threw in some marigold and natural flavorings in the sachet which I am glad about because it really could’ve gone the other way with artificial melon flavor. Refreshing and inviting.

BRIEF: “Fruity apricot and honeydew pieces complement pure green tea to create a delightful tropical tea experience.” SOOT’S TAKE: With a single teabag infusing such a large pot of water, the outcome was bound to be needlessly tasteless, so much so that even the teapot faded quite appropriately into the table. 🫠😑
