REALLY GOOD
1st THE VIEW FROM GREAT ISLAND’S COPYCAT RAINCOAST CRISPS® CRACKERS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
When I first brought home a box of Raincoast Crisps® from Whole Foods many moons ago, I never imagined I would someday attempt to make them myself. These ones from @theviewfromgreatisland come pretty darn close I think.

2nd CRICH CRACKERS - OLIO EXTRA VERGINE DI OLIVA 10% E ROSMARINO
RedMan by Phoon Huat @ The Star Vista, Singapore
24 hr-leavened crackers with extra virgin olive oil 10% and rosemary. I taste how they’ve survived 156 years.
3rd SNACKIES II
Restaurant Pekin Sutera, Skudai
Savory, floury local snack I don't know the name of. Think it was prawn-tasting.
4th JAN'S FARMHOUSE CRACKERS
Shelburne Farms, Shelburne
Cranberry Pistachio, Sesame Citrus and Salted Almond Crisps to go with cheese @ VERMONT CHEESEMAKERS FESTIVAL 2015.
5th TATE'S BAKE SHOP: BAKING FOR FRIENDS’ GRAHAM CRACKERS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
Happy National Graham Cracker Day! I never thought I’d make my own but I did and these ones from “Tate's Bake Shop: Baking for Friends” taste legit!
6th LITTLE SPOON FARM’S SOURDOUGH BUTTER CRACKERS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
These are ridiculously good for repurposing discard. I mean, crazy good. Love how buttery and cheesy they taste and can’t wait to pair with cheese. Happy Sourdough Sunday!
7th NYT COOKING’S EASY MATZO
Soots Cook Nook, Private
Sans the perforations, certainly not kosher and definitely not Moses’ tablet (in case anyone’s wondering 😉). Great with green onion and chives cream cheese.
8th COOK’S ILLUSTRATED’S SOURDOUGH DISCARD SEEDED CRACKERS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
These crackers are the very reason one shouldn’t discard the notion of keeping discard! Or leftover seeds for that matter. Can’t wait to pair them with a 🧀
9th CRISPY RICE CRACKER WITH COCONUT SUGAR
Gourmet Market Siam Paragon, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon
Crispy rice cracker with coconut sugar, cashew nuts, mung beans, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds.
PRETTY GOOD
10th POPO 寶寶 MURUKU IKAN
Sheng Siong Supermarket, Singapore
Tastes blander than I’d expect, maybe because popo can’t handle the salt?
11th BAKING SCHOOL: THE BREAD AHEAD COOKBOOK’S FLATBREADS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
Happy National Gluten-Free Day! My second time using GF bread flour for anything and I think this calls for some hummus!
12th 三河屋えび満月わさび風味
DON DON DONKI JCube, Singapore
Wasabi-flavored shrimp crackers. Reminds me of them church wafers they hand out at communion but tastier. Sorry not sorry.
13th SAME MATZO, DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES
Soots Cook Nook, Private
1 more matzah shot for the road before #MATZAHCHALLENGE ends!
14th HOMEMADE MATZOH IN > 18 MINUTES!
Soots Cook Nook, Private
Oh…this took way longer than 18 minutes but it was my first attempt at matzo crackers and hand scoring matzo can be quite humbling.
16th NORWEGIAN CRISP BREAD | KNEKKEBRØD
Soots Cook Nook, Private
Norwegian Crisp Bread that I overbaked (hard!) and partially burned (sooty!) and that I will have to watch more carefully the next time. The upside to this is that it still went well with the gjetost and it was probably very healthy.
17th SOURDOUGH VEGAN CHEEZ-ITS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
Finally, an opportune moment to dispose of some yeast: both wild and nutritional!
18th MR OLITAS PIZZA SNACK
OY-554, Jorge Newbery Airport
Always fun to check out another country’s snacks.
20th KEVAN ROBERTS’ RYE SOURDOUGH CRACKERS
Soots Cook Nook, Private
They had to be 🦖🦖 since the dough looked like it belonged in a natural history museum. P.S. They don’t taste prehistoric at all.

22nd KRUPUK
Restoran Padang, Melaka
I don’t know why this tasted of jackfruit but it did.
