The juice of an Israeli grapefruit went into producing a drink reminiscent of the past several days: Smoky & Bittersweet.

A refreshing excuse to dispose of some leftover reposado.

“Moutai, Monin Yuzu Puree, Ripe Chilled Lemon Juice, Perrier, Bitter Syrup” My first time trying a cocktail made with Baijiu (a grain-based Chinese liquor).

The remaining pineapple in fridge was ripening to bursting point, so juicer, jigger and pony, shaker full of ice in hand, I mixed it up with a lil’ bit of pineapple, Smirnoff, Cointreau and lime. Great for a lazy weekend.

A 1915 classic: concoction of dry gin, Dom Bénédictine, orange liqueur, cherry brandy, shaken with lime and pineapple juice, a dash of Angostura bitters and Grenadine.

Piedra Azul Tequila, Lime Juice, Grapefruit Juice, Agave Nectar, Squirt. Because we met a kid named Paloma in Puerto Madryn and she wanted to be an exotics vet.

Got this at one of the convenience stores (was it 7-Eleven? Lawson? Family Mart?) and was totally not expecting it to be alcoholic until it hit me several steps past inhaling this.

Had 2 of these to end the day.
