Happy Diwali 🪔 I made these cocoNUTTY barfi bites and don’t they taste like a celebration! The coconut, cardamom and (very toasted 😛) pistachio just come together in a way that makes you feel like a regal guest at a rani’s chai party.

YBC’s BRIEF: A combination of what YBC would like you to know is a “crunchy noir crunch [of] smooth chocolate” derived from Ghanaian cocoa beans, and savory “almond crunch” of crispy almonds with a “mouth-watering skin.” SOOTY’S BRIEF: These were fun to try, not only because they tasted like a step up from your regular grocery store candy bar but because they were going for a fraction (20%) of their original price!

After attempting Keo Lac Vung (Peanut and Sesame Candy) last year, I thought I’d try a version with walnuts and cashews this year.

These are so good they’re all gone now. Also, there’s something about eating candy out of a paper bag that gives you those fresh outta the olde candy shoppe old timey feels. $2/100 g.

I think this was strawberry-flavored and it reminded me of candy from my childhood.
