2nd TIGER CRYSTAL
FairPrice Clementi Ave 2, Singapore
You can bet I was sweating 😓 as much as the bottle. Talk about uncaging ultimate refreshment!
3rd BREWLANDER FREEDOM LAGER
Cold Storage, Singapore
My first time trying locally crafted beer born out of an “innocent brewing hobby in (the founder’s) little HDB flat...” It was crisp, refreshing and extremely satisfying with my lunch of homemade bacon jalapeño cream cheese empanadas. Also extremely rewarding after hauling ~ 10 kg of supplies home on foot. 🥵🏃‍♀️😷
5th PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO
Cold Storage, Singapore
After a 🏃‍♀️ and a 🌯... So crisp! So refreshing!
10th SUMMER IPA
Charlie's Corner, Singapore
It’s Happy Hour and what better refreshment than a 🍺 to go with fish & chips?
11th FREE BEER
Brotzeit Westgate, Singapore
I don’t think it was the Märzen I wanted to try but it was still good and it went perfectly with my meal.
12th KIRIN ICHIBAN FROZEN BEER 一番搾リ
紅葉もみじ MOMIJI MATSURI, Singapore
First time trying frozen beer. It’s actually the foam that’s frozen which I wasn’t expecting. Great accompaniment to the takoyaki though. Also a great way to end the day (pre-crash) after an unexpected all-nighter.
13th SUNTORY THE PREMIUM MALT’S SPARKLING GOLD
Drink Drunk Donki, Singapore
7:3 beer to foam ratio sounds like a great way to round off the day and, especially if it’s going for $6 and not $11. 😁
15th KIRIN ICHIBANSHIBORI キリン 一番搾り
Osaka Kitchen, Singapore
Nothing like a freshly tapped beer to go with okonomiyaki.
16th ARCHIPELAGO SINGAPORE BLONDE ALE
WHITE MOUSTACHE - habitat by honest bee, Singapore
A blonde malt ale fresh off the tap. Apparently calamansi and pandan leaves are involved. Regardless of whether I was actually able to discern these flavors, it quenched satisfyingly on a scorching hot day and it was perfect with the fish & chips.
18th TIGER WHITE
K3 Cafe, Singapore
A Singaporean beer to go with a uniquely Singaporean dish. Smooth and lite.
19th PEANUT BUTTER MILK STOUT
Tajima Ramen East Village, San Diego
Milk Stout, 5.3% ABV from Belching Beaver Brewing Co. It smelled and tasted like peanut butter but with a stouty taste along with.
20th CALI CREAMIN’ (NITRO) 8
Tajima Ramen East Village, San Diego
Vanilla Cream Ale, 5% ABV from Mother Earth Brewing Co. Served with an incredible top-to-bottom head. It tasted like cream soda-flavored beer (if it exists).
21st CERVEZA QUILMES CHOPP
La Brigada, AAJ
So good when you need a break from the drama🕺 uno más! 🍺
22nd QUILMES CRISTAL
Almacén de Pizzas │Recoleta, AAE
First local beer in BA. This was very clean-tasting! 😋
PRETTY GOOD
25th SINGHA LAGER BEER
LoogChoob the city Homestay, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon

26th GWEI.LO 鬼佬 PILSNER
Cold Storage, Singapore
This cracked me up. It’s from 🇭🇰.
27th BIA SAIGON® SPECIAL
Fat Saigon Boy, Singapore
I dunno what spring barley is but bottle looks like it’s wearing a bib.
28th MARIESTADS EXPORT
IKEA Alexandra, Singapore
They were out of spatulas! 😭😭😭 And I simply couldn’t make this trip out to IKEA for naught. This was maltier than I would’ve liked but still drinkable.
29th LIMITED EDITION TIGER BEER
#3890 TIGERS , Singapore 179024
Compliments of Tiger Beer for raising awareness of wild tiger endangerment. There are an estimated 3890 of them left in the wild today.
30th TIGER ORCHID BREW
Sheng Siong, Singapore
Drinking to Singapore’s 55th year of independence with this limited edition brew. I’d been intrigued by the idea of an orchid-infused brew for some time but was reluctant to buy a pack since it’s a darker lager which I’m less partial to compared to its hoppier counterparts. I’m happy to report that it doesn’t disappoint! It’s easier on the palette (at least mine) than your run of the mill amber lager. The orchid infusion imparts a pleasant, floral aroma just sufficient to counteract the maltiness I find somewhat off-putting in dark beers, yet without overwhelming the senses. Well played, Tiger Beer, which I suppose obliges me to now entertain my Tiger?
