BRIEF: “Emmental cheeseburger topped with real white truffle sauce and our crispy sweet onions on a toasted potato bun.” SOOT’S TAKE: I didn’t get the mini Moët they were offering to go with. All the same, it was a slam dunk hit for me. 😋

The most delicious burger I’ve had in ages: this burger of “toasted buns, slow caramelized onions, American cheese, handmade beef patty, chopped pickled jalapeños, homemade burger sauce” that is. Hands down, better than FIVE GUYS.

BRIEF: “Cheeseburger topped with crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and ShackSauce.” SOOT’S TAKE: The shallots add sweetness to an otherwise excellent burger, but that is still greatly overshadowed by their limited ed. White Truffle Burger and their Smokeshack™ Burger i.e. not worth a repeat for the price.

BRIEF: 100% chargrilled beef, cheese, Portobello Mushroom sauce, onion, tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise sauce SOOT’S TAKE: Solid burger. Demolished in under 10 minutes. Or was it 5? 🤔

First solid meal in hours so was v satisfying. Also my first time dining at their pretty and newly refurbished outlet with a view of their mini pond so that was nice too.

Sometimes you just want to reach for a classic.

Been a while since my last cheeseburger @ this burger franchise, so let’s go with a double tonight! Double the beef patties, double the cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and dollop of tomato ketchup…not double the perfectly soft bun but that’s perfectly alright when it’s going for a buck tonight! #doublygood

BRIEF: “Cheeseburger with all-natural applewood-smoked bacon, cherry peppers, ShackSauce.” SOOT’S TAKE: This is a tasty burger, although I’m unsure I’d get it again, given the size and the price. But if I do get this again, I’d have it to go with one of their ciders or beers.

A basic but solid burger (lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, relish, onions and pickles). The fat fries were good too.

Well, I’d said in the previous post I was going to make burgers with the homemade brioche... Also, that’s the ground beef in the freezer finally done with!

“Rocket leaves, poached pear, walnut-pecan butter, blue cheese infused beef patty.” Very tasty and satisfying, but needs more of that delicious nut butter! The only other thing of note is the restaurant’s table service: it is confusing.

Seared Beef Patty with Red Sauce paired with a Pineapple Ring and Shiitake & Enoki Mushrooms.

Purchased at SAKURA MATSURI. Beef croquette sandwich with cabbage and presumably a demi glace sauce.

Been wanting to make my own since I can’t get to Culver’s anymore. Seeing as its National Hamburger Day, International Burger Day and we’re still not done with National Burger Month, I say why the heck not with the brioche buns I baked a day ago?

This is a messy burger to eat.

$30 burger. Did I like it any less than a $20 burger? No. Did I like it any more than a $20 burger? No. Hype? Or am I a philistine? #maybeimaphilistine

Aromatic glazed bun with a not-that-juicy Angus beef patty, layered with Colby cheese, caramelised grilled onions, chicken bacon, tomato jalapeño relish, and creamy garlic aioli sauce. Give me a good ole' cheeseburger with ketchup anytime!

A brioche bun with lettuce, tomato grilled/raw onion. I added sautéed mushrooms and , avocado to the mix. The avocado was mushed and didn’t add much to the overall flavor of the burger, so I piled on the ketchup. Fries were good though.
