Chicken in red chillies

Gave this another go. Much better this time- not overly oily, with nice crunch and spiciness. Yum! #Mala

What’s better than KFC fried chicken? KFC Mala fried chicken! Or so I thought. Nice crispy fiery spiciness, though not to the extent of having that shiok numbing effect from Szechuan peppercorns. But oily it certainly was 😱, and that’s the only gripe I have.

For a rather nice restaurant setting that proclaims to specialise in cheese, this was a disappointment. Let’s just say that the cheese sauce I get at the GV cinema to go with the nachos tasted better than this sauce. The heavily breaded chicken tasted like some frozen products from the supermarket deep freezer.
