Better than I imagined & I imagined them to be really good! First of all, the pancakes here are my favorites in NYC, USA. Dense, rich & fluffy all at once. These are filled & topped with fresh blueberries. They’re drizzled (or soaked!) with yuzu curd & topped with delicate vanilla bean whipped cream, bright yuzu syrup & shortbread crumble. I didn’t need the sweet crumble. I think maple butter was in the little container. Too much? I think not, although the yuzu, whipped cream & blueberry pancakes were perfectly satisfying. Wow...fond memories.

Consistently the best pancakes in NYC and beyond! They are rich & moist & flavorful. The Maine blueberries are fresh & have a deep flavor. The warm maple butter enhances the lusciousness if the dish. This is opening day of #timeoutmarketnewyork & I am one of the first Clinton Street Baking Co. customers. I am so happy they are here!

It was light & fluffy with butter & maple syrup. It was good, but I was expecting a warm pancake with melted butter. I was wanting these for years, so I think my expectations were high. Next time I’ll try the Créme Brûlée one.
