This may just be my favorite of the five coffees I tried here in PDX, although they were all excellent. This, however, was so bright & real & smooth. It jumped out of the cup & said welcome! I usually get decaf, which they didn't have at this time, so I was pretty jittery for a while. My friend who only drinks caffeinated coffee said it had a high caffeine content.

A good quality latte with a rich flavor. Creamy crema. There are notes in it that are not my favorite, but they may be yours. I still enjoyed it.

I finally had Stumptown coffee in Stumptown! Rich, smooth & flavorful. I imagine it was the combination of the beans, the machine & the talented barista.

Subtle flavor, but sturdy. It kind of sneaks up on you, but then remains with you. Definitely refreshing on this hot day!

Stumptown coffee in Stumptown! Flavorful and smooth.

Very good La Colombe coffee. Dark & rich. Maybe very slightly bitter or it could’ve just been intense.

I love the rich, creamy mixture of cardamom, coffee, chocolate & milk. My only complaint is the barista, who is generally friendly & pleasant, was rude. He said, “we’re closing” & after only a few seconds, while I was finishing up what I was doing, he said, “I need you to leave.” Also, “The hours are on the door.” When I sat on the bench outside, he said, “I need the bench, too.” This was all said in a flat tone. Nothing soft or kind about it. I know this is not Yelp, but it just happened & I had to complain. I do like his coffee, so I’m in a quandary as to whether I’ll return or not.

Let me clarify my rating. It has an intense roasted flavor, which is the hojicha, which I just learned I am not that crazy about. However, I’ll remember it because of the intensity. I’ll remember not to have it again. 😝😂 The rest of the oat milk latte has the smooth, rich, slightly sweet flavor I like. See the Toasted Tahini Matcha Latte for deets. I’m disappointed because I was looking for a less caffeinated latte & I can’t find a decaf matcha. 😢Does anyone know of one?

With almond milk. Good espresso, but I prefer the creaminess of low-fat milk, which they don’t have. Worth it for the view!
